    The ND SHRM State Council is comprised of volunteers from various companies across the state, with the shared intention of spreading HR knowledge and experience to everyone.

    North Dakota has 5 SHRM-Affiliated chapters located throughout the state:

    Positions on the NDSHRM State Council

    Below is a list of volunteer leader positions that make up the NDSHRM State Council.  You can view the current job description for each position by clicking on the position title below.

    ND SHRM is proud recipient of the prestigious 2016 SHRM EXCEL Platinum Award!!

    SHRM recently awarded ND SHRM  its perstigious EXCEL Platinum Award for the council's accomplishments in 2016.

    The awared aligns individual chapters and state councils' activities with SHRM's aspirations for the HR profession.  The award recongizes accomplishments and strategic activites and initiatives that enhance the human resource profession.

     

    "Advancing the human resources profession is a daily mission at SHRM and this North Dakota SHRM State Council's outstanding work this year contributed significantly to that goal, " said Henry G. (Hank) Jackson, president and CEO of SHRM.  "Recipients of this prestigious award are those who show a strong commitment to advancing the HR profession through service to the community, local networking, and professional development activities."

    NDSHRM Was awarded SHRM EXCEL Silver Award for 2015!!

    SHRM awarded ND SHRM State Council the award as partof the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence, which alinges indvidual chapters and coucils' activities with SHRM's aspirations for the HR profession

    NDSHRM Was awarded Membership Superstar status for 2015!!

    SHRM chapters in our state were able to positively advance SHRM membership in 2015. Our state chapters efforts to increase membership in 2015 resulted in achieving Membership Superstar status for 2015.

    ND SHRM is proud to be named a 2014 SHRM Foundation Champion!!

    The SHRM Foundation’s Champions Program recognizes exceptional chapters and state councils for their commitment, leadership and generous support to the Foundation’s Annual Campaign.

    NDSHRM is proud to be a recipient of the EXCEL Bronze Award for 2013!!

    The award is part of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence, which aligns individual states with SHRM.  The award recognizes a state’s accomplishments and strategic activities and initiatives that promote the human resources profession at the local level.

    “This recognition is a distinct indication of the state council’s successful partnership with SHRM to serve the networking and professional development needs of human resource professionals and to the advancement of the human resources profession” said J.     NDSHRM is awarded Membership Superstar status for 2013!

    Although our economy continues to be challenging, the SHRM chapters in our state were able to overcome these challenges and positively advance SHRM membership in 2013.  Many states experienced declining membership during the year, so our state’s ability to maintain or realize growth in membership is outstanding!
